The Omni Soun Speaker shows FP at its most innovative.
This project represents the culmination of my acoustic experience intricately blended with a striking design that is specifically shaped to enhance the sound quality. Made from high grade ceramic, the shell is handmade to produce an exact shape. The long slender downward curve is a work of art to the connoisseur but to the acoustic engineer it’s a fine example of Bessel’s Quadratic and works together with the acoustic properties of the ceramic shell to produce an exemplary sound performance. In the centre between the woofer and tweeter is a handmade wooden reflector which produces a non coherence omnidirectional sound. This not only fills the entire room with a very natural sound but also reduces ceiling to floor resonance. It is a statement of intent, a superb work of art and technology.

The most powerful of the FP. ORUS has a very high efficiency (92 dB) and can handle a massive 1000W output. Like all of the speakers in the omni-directional range, the tweeter and woofer face each other with a central reflector fitted between them. Created in collaboration with designer Ron Arad, FREEWHEELER is a cordless Sound Sculpture wheel that can be rolled around, indoors or outside. Made of high-quality lacquered wood, it has the unique quality of generating a high quality stereo sound from one component instead of the usual two separate elements. The sound signal is conveyed to the speaker by a two-way Bluetooth.  The signals are then sent in opposite directions to two coaxial speakers.
